Super Bowl

Last Sunday was the Super Bowl and I had a lot of fun. We started having drinks around breakfast and had others on each quarter of the game. We went bar hopping, that is. Football is a lot more interesting than soccer. As much as I dont get much of what`s going on, I still know what they have to do to win.
The final of the Super Bowl is entertaining because they put stars during the game. It started with Jay Z singing "run this town",http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bW2yXKKVLeA. And Carrie Underwood sang the anthem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhEzqbOzODg - that will never be like the show that Whitney Houston put on years ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sR_KwLvf0is,\. And during the half of the show, The Who (who???) played. I had no idea who they were. Only Doug knew them.
Another nice thing about the Super Bowl is that the commercials are somewhat special. 30 seconds of commercials cost 1million so they do very funny commercials. Also the team that wins the game, gets millions of dollars - the quaterback gets more money - and they also get this huge diamong ring. Domingo passado foi a final do Super Bowl. Eh igual a final do Campeonato Brasileiro, mas melhor (mmmmmmmmmmmmmto melhor - nao pq futebol eh chato, mas na final do Super Bowl tem o show de uma banda na metade do jogo e os comerciais sao feitos especialmente pra final. 30 segundos de comercial custam 1 milhao, entao eles capricham).
A gente comecou a beber no cafe da manha (:D) e fomos fazer `bar hopping` (de um bar pro outro) em cada `quarter` do jogo (cada quarter pode durar 20 minutos, ou 1 hora) e sao quatro `quarters`, entao foram quatro bares.
Eu nao entendo muito de futebol americano, mas sei que o timo que estah atacando tem que chegar ateh o fim do campo que estah defendendo. O time que ataca tem que ir passando de 1o jardas a 10 jardas, e eles tem 4 chances pra passar cada jarda. Quando o time que ataca passa cada jarda e chega no fim, o time faz um touchdown. Se eles fizerem um touchdown (que dah 6 pontos) eles podem fazer um extra ponto dando um chute naquela bola, que tem q passar entre aquelas traves. O quarterback - que eh quem joga a bola pro receiver, que eh quem vai correr as 10 jardas - eh o jogador principal, mas se ele erra a jogada, o receiver do outro time pode pegar a bola, e agora quem estava defendendo, vai atacar. (alguem entendeu alguma coisa?).

A banda que tocou na metade do jogo, foi o The Who (Who?????). Soh Doug que gostou, porque soh ele conhecia a banda!! UHaahuhauahuhau!
