RIP

No dia de Acao de Gracas (http://andreworkexp.blogspot.com/2009/11/acao-de-gracas-thanksgiving.html) a gente foi jantar na casa da Tina (que esta a esquerda da foto) e ela foi gente finissima!!! E nesse dia ela disse que estava perdendo peso sem saber porque, vivia cansada e nao sentia muita fome - apesar de comer normal. No fim de dezembro ela foi diagnosticada com cancer pancreatico e o medico disse que ela tinha 6 meses de vida (NHOIN BEE!). Ela faleceu na sexta feira passada. Doug me disse que havia pontinhos pretos por todo o pulmao. A filha dela -Kim- estava ao lado dela quando ela faleceu, e a Kim perguntou pra Tina, que jah tava mais pra lah do que pra cah "onde voce estah?" e a Tina respondeu "Estou com mamae e papai.". Estremeci nas base quando Doug me disse isso. Ele deve ir pra Modesto daqui a uma semana pra cerimonia de funeral (que aqui eh quase uma festa de despedida, com musica, comes e bebes).

On Thanksgiving Day (http://andreworkexp.blogspot.com/2009/11/acao-de-gracas-thanksgiving.html) we went to Tina`s place (who` on the left of the photo) to have supper and she was the nicest person!!! She said that day that she was losing weight for no reason, feeling tired and she was feeling hungry, but she would eat anyways. By the end of December the doctor said she had pancreatic cancer, and that she would live for more 6 months (WHAT?). She passed away last Friday. Her lungs were full of black spots and she didnt make it. Her daughter -Kim- was with her when she passed away and as she was dozing, she asked Tina "where are you?" and Tina answered "I`m with mommy and daddy." I got the goose bumps!!!! Doug might go to Modest next week for Tina`s funeral ceremony (which is almost like a party here in the US, with food and music and drinks).
