Everytime we go to blockbuster Doug asks me to look for "that famous Brazilian movie" and yesterday we finally found `City of God` -it really is a famous Brazilian movie that takes place in a slum in Rio, it goes 4 Oscar nominations and everything. And tonight we`ll watch it. Some jaws will drop!!!!
Yesterday, I was watching TV and I saw this commercial for Ross. They had a clearance yesterday, 75% OFF! I didnt buy many things, but I had fun! So long since I had last gone shopping. Then we went to Gap...but that is kinda lame... Shopping is so much fun but only my sister or Mark Allen can keep up with my shopping record - which is 6 hours non stop!!!

Sempre que a gente vai na blockbuster, Doug me pede pra perguntar se eles tem Cidade de Deus, eles nunca tem! Soh tem uma copia e sempre tah locada. Ontem eles tinham, e a gente alugou, vamos ver hj. Mas gente...eh a verdade ali oh, batendo na portinha!! Quero ateh ver o que Doug Funny vai falar!!
Ontem eu vi na tv que a Ross tava com 75% de desconto!! Mas minha geeeeeeente! Eu tava igual o menino da rave!!! Tao melhooooooooorr.... depois a gente foi na Gap...mas Gap eh meio cocozinho. Enfim..ngm consegue acompanhar ou bater o recorde de 6 horas de compras que soh minha irma e Mark Allen (de San Diego) conseguiram!!

Hi Andre, I love reading your commentary of life in the US. Obviously very different to what you know in Brazil, but I must also say it is quite different to life in New Zealand (even though our cultures are similar in so many other ways).
